Venue: Ca’ Vendramin Calergi

This elegant venue is certainly a majestic presence on the Grand Canal.  Within Ca’ Vendramin Calergi are a range of beautiful rooms.  On the first floor is the Piano Nobile is the perfect setting for private functions, cultural activities and receptions. The hall receives light from a spacious mullioned window that overlooks the courtyard.

The other floor houses several other beautifully rooms like the Red Room which is decorated with beautiful tapestries of “lampas” on a crimson background.  The doorways are frescoed in chiaroscuro as is the ceiling.

Overlooking the garden, corresponding to what was known as the “white wing” in the time of the Grimani family is the room now known as the Yellow Room on account of the beautiful damask tapestry work.  Both rooms would be excellent to host a lovely dinner evening.
